International Business School (IBS) is a part of the Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University (KazEU), one of the leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and Central Asia in the field of Economics, Finance, Business and Management. The university pursues excellence in teaching and research, and committed to produce highly competent professionals for the market. Founded in 1963, it has a rich experience in training professionals in the economic, financial and administrative sectors. KazEU graduates are highly skilled professionals holding key positions in government, as well as public and non-government sectors all over the country. The University provides undergraduate and graduate programs including Ph.D and MBA degrees.

The total number of students is more than 12 000. The university has its branch in Astana.

The University has full national accreditation of the Ministry of Education and Science. KazEU is also a holder of Quality Certificate ISO 9001-2000, that recognizes a high quality of programs provided by the institution. University has partnership relations with the British, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Turkish universities. KazEU is a member of Consortium on educational project of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). In 2009 the university joined Magna Charta Universitatum to implement the Bologna requirements.

KazEU has strong corporate links with local community. The MBA program with concentration in Finance was developed jointly with the National Bank of Kazakhstan, and now has been successfully operated in the market. In October 2008 the university launched International Business School (IBS) that accumulates all existing business programs: MBA, Executive MBA, Specialized Master’s degree Program, and Professional Development Program.
